With 2015 set to be one of the Rhône Valley’s greatest ever vintages, the anticipation surrounding the release from star producer Maison Chapoutier has been steadily mounting. Having now tasted them ourselves, we can confirm that they more than live up to expectations…
Chapoutier 2015 Tasting
The buzz around Rhône 2015 has been growing for some time, with critics and winemakers alike convinced that it will be a vintage to remember. Jancis Robinson writes that it is “universally viewed as a vintage with top quality potential” while Chapoutier themselves have judged it “exceptional”, with the power to become “legendary” in years to come.
With this in mind, we were delighted to host Chapoutier at our London office and discover their 2015 range for ourselves. Having tasted through a selection of the wines, we can say that the hype appears to be wholly justified.
Demand for the Chapoutier 2015 release has already been fierce, with cases selling rapidly. Click here to view the remaining availability on our website. In order to enquire about available or currently unavailable wines, please speak your Account Manager or contact us.
